The well-known Western Cape owner Gaynor Rupert enjoyed no less than 6 victories, which included a bonus race plus two graded races last week and was selected as the WC RA Owner of the Week. These victories include the following races:

21 October – Vaal Racecourse. Safe Passage – Winner of a Middle Distance Stakes over 2000 metres. Owned and bred by Drakenstein Stud (Nom: Mrs G Rupert) – Silvano (GER) – My Sanctuary by Antonius Pius (USA); trained by Mike de Kock and ridden by Muzi Yeni.
23 October – Turffontein Racecourse. Supreme Warrior – Winner of Maiden Plate over 1200 metres. Owned by Drakenstein Stud (Nom: Mrs G Rupert). Bred by La Plaisance Stud – Vercingetorix – Sovereign Flo by Captain Al; trained by Mike and Adam Azzie and ridden by Diego de Gouveia.
