Maggie Sithole’s Retirement

After an incredible 33 years of dedicated service to the racing industry, the ROA bids a fond farewell to our much-loved office assistant, Maggie Sithole, as she begins her well-deserved retirement.

Maggie first joined the racing industry in 1993, when the organization was still known as the Owners and Trainers Association. Over the years, she has been a familiar and friendly face to countless owners, trainers, directors and colleagues, always carrying out her duties with warmth, dedication and a genuine willingness to help.

Looking back on her early years in racing, Maggie has particularly happy memories of working alongside some of the industry’s well-known names, including Patrick Davis, Graeme Hawkins and Colin Gordon.

Maggie has always taken great pride in serving ROA members and directors, and her commitment and dependable nature have made her a valued part of the ROA family. Beyond the office, Maggie is a proud mother and grandmother, and her wonderful family, including her son and grandchildren, remains a very special part of her life.

As Maggie closes this chapter, we would like to thank her sincerely for her many years of loyal service, her hard work and, most importantly, the warmth she has brought to the ROA office.

From all of us the ROA, we wish you a long, happy and fulfilling retirement. May this next chapter be filled with family, cherished memories and plenty of time to enjoy the things you love. You will be greatly missed!
