Workers’ Day Workshop

Workers’ Day Workshop focusing on education as well as positive and healthy masculinity.

This Workers Day, 4Racing— together with the Racehorse Owners Association—hosted a powerful engagement at the Vaal focused on Positive Masculinity.

53 grooms took part in an interactive, round-circle session designed to encourage open conversation, accountability, and respect—both in the workplace and within their communities.

In partnership with Father A Nation (FAN), the initiative addressed key issues such as gender-based violence, conflict management, and the importance of being strong role models and responsible men.

The Vaal was specifically chosen as part of ongoing efforts to create safer, more respectful environments, building on the success of similar interventions at Randjesfontein.

The ROA is proud to continue this partnership with 4 Racing and contribute to these most worthy initiatives which create effective change across the value chain of racing and together, we continue working towards stronger values, safer spaces, and empowered communities.
