Highveld Owner of the Week: Peet Boonzaaier
Alesian Chief won the WSB Merchants (Gr 3) over 1160 metres at Turffontein on 30 November to earn Peet Boonzaaier the Highveld Owner of the Week Award. The 3 year old colt is owned in partnership with C J Lensley, Ms E L La Grange, Mr G G Palmer and Mrs D D Palmer. Alesian Chief was bred by Dr M Thomson of Ambience Stud – Vercingetorix – All in the Mind by Var (USA). Corrie Lensley is the trainer and jockey Jarryd Penny was in the saddle.
